Insects are everywhere in your landscapes, some good and some bad. Most bad insects attack plants that are stressed or in poor health. Our certified and trained arborists will come up with a plan to restore the overall health of your tree, along with targeting the exact cause of the issue.
Our area has a wide array of pests that all have different hosts. Our team will treat these pests with many different application types. From systemics, foliar or soil we will combat the issues at hand in a safe, and environmentally friendly manner.

DEEP ROOT FEEDING
We take a slightly different approach to Tree Fertilizing. We do not use granule salt based fertilizers as others do. Reason being… We have high PH soil in our area already. It can be detrimental to the health and growth of plants to apply salt and nitrogen based fertilizers in our area. Our approach is more natural. In fact, we carry certified organic products. We use live culture Humates, Sea Weed Cream, and other natural sources as a base for our products. These natural properties are then backed with a broad liquid fertilizer, including Nitrogen, Phosphorus and Potassium.
With all of our Deep Root Feeding plans we are adding Micro and Macro Nutrients to help create a better soil profile. Deep Root Feeding with Humates improves vigor and strengthens the tree's response to environmental stressors such as insects, diseases, and drought. Feeding assists the tree with nutrient storage in and out of the growing season.
Continued use of the right products builds the soil profile. By adding a mixture of nutrients to the soil, plants have access to elements essential for defense and resilience, promoting a healthier plant.
Rates and use will vary depending on the health and vigor of the plant. Heavy watering the day before soil injection helps uptake and allows penetration of our probes around the plant. Aeration of the soil is an added benefit of deep-root feeding. By using pressure injection to open up soil pore space, we are delivering the product directly to where the critical roots exist in the first 10-12" of soil.

Mulching
In a forest, organic plant matter falls regularly. When this breaks down it is replenishing the soil with micro and macro nutrients. In our urban environments trees do not receive this benefit.
Tree Mechanics LLC offers mulching as a service. When we have fresh, clean wood chips we inform our customers that are on our “mulching list”. We will then deliver these wood chips to the desired dump site at your property, and can consult you on how and where to place the chips around the trees.
Mulching is one of the best practices for tree health and longevity. BE CAREFUL though, mulch purchased at local stores is not the desired product to put around your trees. These are chemically died mulches. When this product breaks down, the chemicals are going into the soil and root system. Along with the chemicals the product has all the beneficial nutrients taken out. We highly suggest contacting a local tree company for FRESH mulch from disease free trees. Mulching trees have many benefits in our urban environments.
